Actively involved in her communities, she serves on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina and The Old Baldy Foundation, the Board of Advisors for The Shoals Club, several Architectural Review Boards and is a member of the Wedding Guild for the Village Chapel of Bald Head Island. During the busy Summer season, she spends late nights on the beach monitoring sea turtles for the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
An avid sports fan and outdoorswoman, Suzanne enjoys spending time on the water, watching college sports and playing golf when time allows. Her family includes her husband Pat (Wake Forest and East Carolina), son Jack (Auburn) and a spaniel named Salty.
