Katie Adams, a dedicated real estate professional and passionate family member, has crafted a diverse and fulfilling career marked by creativity, connection, and community. Born in Texas and raised in Kansas City, Katie attended Texas Christian University where she earned degrees in Marketing, Advertising, and Fashion Merchandising, which she pursued through various opportunities, before being recruited into the world of private equity where she launched a successful insurance sales platform. From here, entrepreneurial drive sparked, Katie circled back to her generational roots in the world of real estate. Here, she built a reputation as a trusted real estate agent among friends and clients, driven by a genuine desire to see those she cares for truly happy and satisfied. 

Katie’s commitment to excellence in real estate and connection to family led her to team up with her sister, Amanda Lyman. Together as Adams Lyman Real Estate, they expanded their business and growth opportunities throughout Kansas City and beyond. Katie’s decision to continue her career with the international brand of Sage Sotheby’s International Realty stems from her admiration for the company’s prestigious reputation and commitment to excellence in the real estate industry locally and around the world. Outside of her professional life, family is at the heart of Katie’s life. She is a devoted wife and mother of two young boys who are enjoying early education at St. Paul’s Episcopal Day School. Katie emphasizes travel and adventure in her life, believing in the importance of experiencing the world outside of our own. Interior design is a passion and hobby for her, as well, born out of her creative merchandising background and residential realty experience. Katie actively seeks opportunities to make a difference, believing in the importance of contributing to the well-being of our growing city.
